Quick Pickled Radish
Quick Pickled Radish
3 parts water
3 parts apple cider vinegar
2 parts granulated (white) sugar
1 part kosher salt
pickling spices, as desired
shaved radish slices
Bring all ingredients except radish to a boil. Add the radish, ensure they are submerged and leave to cool.

Maple Balsamic Glazed Purple Radish
Maple Balsamic Glazed Purple Radish
purple radish, quartered or wedged
oil
one part maple syrup
one part balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper, to taste
Toss the radish in some oil and arrange in a baking pan.
Place the syrup and vinegar in a saucepan and boil until reduced and thick.
Pour over radishes, then season with salt and pepper.
Roast until tender.
