Product Showcase

Today I attended a large product showcase. This is a gathering of culinary industry professionals: the business professionals launching and marketing products and chefs looking into which products they like to purchase. It is very much like a trade show. There were a lot of food booths, including ready made products, condiments, desserts, breads, and more. There were also equipment vendors such as knives, vitamixes, vacpac machines, deep-fryers, and more. There were unique booths such as molecular gastronomy, plates, etc. I had a lot of fun and met a lot of interesting people and had some good conversations. My favorites though, are the food booths with the free samples. Especially the sweet treats dessert booth (made with real ingredients, there desserts are to die for), and the chocolate booth. Along with all the freebies - pamphlets, calendars, recipe books, pens, spoons, etc. Here are some photos capturing the day:
